Swiss based South African DJ, producer and musical maverick Nora En Pure is someone who joins dots between different and disparate sounds, styles and scenes with ease. Her main focus is often on indie dance and deep house, as a DJ this venerated talent is on a quest to fulfil her need to arouse feelings of bliss, injecting unconventional and serene sensations on dancefloors around the world.
The rising star has already proven to be quite productive and has been releasing deep and funky works of audible engineering for labels like Enormous Tunes and Tokenish since 2009. Besides her passion for Africa, Nora En Pure is all about music and pours all her efforts into it, the melodic but mesmerising club sounds that result have won her an undoubtedly large and dedicated fan base around the world. Some of her biggest hits have included a remix for Daniel Portman’s KHAWERI in 2010. It was her debut release, got huge reactions from all the global players and launched her career as a producer in fine style.
In 2011 her track 'You Make Me Float' hit the Top 50 of the Beatport chart, made it onto a legendary Buddha Bar Compilation and got over 500k views on YouTube. In 2012 she released 'Aurelia', which became a highly requested club hit and made it on various compilations, whilst her crossover hit 'Come With Me' released in February 2013 made its way up on top of Beatport charts, confirming Nora En Pure to be in a class of her own when it comes to floor filling club sounds.
Raised in Baltimore, but now calls Aspen home, Alex Golden (GOLDEN) is fresh on the DJ scene here in Aspen. She started spinning after a friend had booked her for a house music pop up party, then giving her two months to teach herself how to DJ. She set out to prove that Aspen was ready for a change from the Top 40 scene to something funkier and deeper. The party was a success and the rest is history.
GOLDEN specializes in house music that’s influenced by R&B, funk, disco, tribal and B-more club and she says she’s not afraid to drop a house remix of Rocky Mountain High. She describes herself as a “Lifestyle DJ” spinning at all sorts of events and spaces from clubs, Apres, bar takeovers, yoga classes, to wedding after-parties, mountain top parties and late night living room sessions.
