Channel Tres
Channel Tres blends the drive of Detroit techno and the silky-smooth grooves of Chicago house with the snarl of West Coast rap. His music is no longer a secret between dance DJs (even if they maybe wished it had stayed that way). Even as artists like Drake and Beyonce are venturing into dance music, Channel Tres has been touted as the impetus for house music’s resurgence in pop music by outlets including BET, Billboard, V, Highsnobiety, The Ringer, and more. He’s toured globally, from major festivals to sold-out arenas, and found fans in everyone from Elton John to Tyler, the Creator. For Channel, music is about reconnecting with his own history. He’s recently collaborated with industry mainstays and buzzy up-and-comers including Robyn, Honey Dijon, Tove Lo, Mura Masa, and Shygirl. His 2020 EP i can’t go outside debuted in Spotify’s Top 10 US Album Debuts with features from Tyler, the Creator and Tinashe. The project paved the way for groundbreaking growth. In 2022, Channel Tres made his Coachella debut before embarking on a nearly sold-out debut run of US headline tour dates, including three sold-out hometown shows at The Fonda in Los Angeles. He is currently traversing through Europe on a fully sold-out run headline shows. Channel’s most recent feat is his EP Real Cultural Shit, a five-track ode to community and staying true to yourself.
