Cloonee

Since his breakthrough in 2019 following ‘The Ciggie’ on Solid Grooves Raw and his first Beatport #1 ‘Be Good To Me’ on Big Beat, plus material on Solardo’s Sola, Elrow, Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars, and more, Cloonee has been on an ever- escalating ascent towards the top of tech house’s global elites.

2020 continued building in impressive fashion for the emerging UK DJ/producer, hitting another #1 with ‘Like What’ on his own CLNE imprint, further solidifying his
position as an up-and-comer to take note of. It came as no surprise when global heavyweight Chris Lake signed him to Black Book Records for ‘What You Want’ and then ‘Let’s ‘Rave’, while ‘Get Stupid’ on his return to CLNE soared to #2 on Beatport within a week of its release to cap off the year. 2021 saw Cloonee coming out firing with yet another Beatport #1, unveiling his now-iconic festival anthem ‘Sun Goes Down’ to a rapturous reception, before linking with Spanish producer Wade for their fiery collaboration ‘Mi Amor’ – quickly amassing millions of plays (a number which continues to bloom) as his profile surged worldwide. CLNE follow-up ‘Love You Like That’ dropped in line with his ‘Love You Like That Summer US Tour’ – with the run of dates across venues such as Chicago’s Spybar and Denver’s Club Vinyl alongside the legendary Brooklyn Mirage & Shrine Auditorium LA as direct support to Chris Lake, and
performances at key festivals such as CRSSD’s DAY MVS and Seismic Dance firmly placing him as a favourite Stateside. The tour sparked the start of something very special, with the UK talent moving to LA, where he currently resides, and providing
the first glimpse of what was to come in his rise to being one of the most in-demand names on the US circuit.

2022 proved monumental in many ways, but it was once again Cloonee’s musical output that saw him shine, remixing Chris Lake’s ‘Turn Off The Lights’ to open the year before linking with Lake for the eerie ‘Nightmares’ on Black Book Records. However, it was the introduction of his now flourishing Hellbent Records imprint that saw the blossoming Brit take the spotlight, launching with the long-awaited release of ‘Tripasia’, another Beatport #1, before dropping the heavy- hitting ‘MOFO’ – a track which soundtracked a wealth of summer dates via his ‘Hotter Than Hell’ tour in Ibiza for Music On, ANTS, FISHER @ Hï and elrow alongside sets at Club Space, Brooklyn Mirage and Day Trip Festival. Add to the mix appearances across Europe plus North & South America to close out the year, and 2023 is all set to become his most significant 12 months yet… stay tuned.
