Wax is coming off his 2022 debut album release, House Of Wax, which has accumulated over million streams. House of Wax is a seventeen-track LP showcasing Wax Motif’s abilities to stretch across all house genres. The album incorporates electronic music euphoria as easily as it does hip-hop swagger, journeying through meditative, chilled-out vibes, summery, highway-cruising bops, and dance floor bangers. The album name also doubles as the DJ’s radio show and touring brand- as the arti continued on his busy show schedule with his House of Wax Tour in 2023/2024.
Wax’s music has made it to the decks and is supported by acts such as Dom Dolla, John Summit, Solomun, Meduza, MK, FISHER, Chris Lake, CID, Lee Foss, Don Diablo, Malaa and Zhu. Wax took it upon himself to flip Drake’s Honestly Nevermind, yielding radio support and co-signed by Gordo, t original producer of the LP. 2023 the horizon included a groundbreaking collaboration with ZHU titled ‘Better Recognize’ and a record high of sold-out shows, including an advance sell-out at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
Having been seen at some of the biggest festivals in 2022 such as Electric Forest, Hard Summer, Electric Zoo, Illfest, ARC Music Festival, and CRSSD Festival- the year brought even more enchanting performances at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas (Main Stage) PROPER SD, Seismic Dance Festival, Countdown NYE, and more.
At the start of 2024, Wax officially became the newest co-producer on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ig newest album, VULTURES, which hit #1 in 83 countries in 24 hours.
Wax produced the dance-inspired track, ‘BACK TO ME’ ft. Freddie Gibbs, Ty Dolla $ign, and Ye alongside 88-keys, solidifying his profi as a sought-after producer who finally is stepping into the light as more than “just a DJ The VULTURES album was a landmark moment for the LA-based producer, who not only has made a name for himself in the world of electronic music, but few know that he has produced for some of the biggest names in hip-hop including Gashi, G-Eazy, Ty Dolla $ign, and recently, created tracks for the new Fresh Prince of Bel-Air TV show. Producing on the new Ye album is a major milestone for the talented artist and proves that he has much more to offer the music industry in the coming year.
