    Celebrating 20 years, Belly Up Aspen has been a premier destination for live music since 2005.  Owned by Michael Goldberg and his sons, David and Danny, the venue has become a staple of Aspen’s entertainment scene, known for hosting world-class artists in an intimate setting. 

    Listed as one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s “BEST CLUBS IN AMERICA,” Belly Up Aspen has featured talents such as Kygo, Jimmy Buffet, Zach Bryan, LCD Soundsystem, The Killers, Widespread Panic, The Chainsmokers, Snoop Dogg, B.B.   • How do I set up a Belly Up Ticketing account?

    • You will be able to create a Belly Up Ticketing account once you have purchased tickets on our new platform. You can purchase tickets here. Once you have purchased tickets, you can create an account here.
    • For your security and convenience, Belly Up requires all attendees to set up an account ONE TIME to receive/install their tickets. You can sign up for your account here
    • You will only be able to receive tickets or transfers from a single account based on name, email, and phone number. 
    • Mobile wallet tickets will appear in your account at approximately 4pm MT the day before the show.
      • Install the tickets you will be using in your digital wallet (this process must be completed on the phone you will be bringing with you to the venue and will not work on a computer or tablet. 
      • Transfer tickets you are giving to others can be done by inputting each individual email and cell phone number. You can use their cell phone number ONLY if you want them to receive a text telling them that you have transferred tickets to them. If your guests are arriving with you there is no need to transfer their tickets. 
      • Transferees must create a Belly Up account using the email that you used to transfer their tickets. 
  • Third-Party Ticketing

    • Belly Up Aspen uses proprietary ticketing technology that securely encrypts your ticket(s) in your phone’s digital wallet. There are no barcodes/QR codes/PDF’s and tickets cannot be duplicated. If you’ve received a ticket with a barcode/QR code for a show at Belly Up Aspen, it is not legitimate.
    • We have no way to verify the legitimacy of tickets that are not purchased through our website until tickets are presented and scanned in our system the night of the show. If you purchase through a third-party and your tickets do not scan in our system, you will not be allowed entry, nor will the original purchaser (or purchasers) be eligible for a refund. We strongly suggest that you do not purchase a ticket unless directly from the Belly Up Aspen website (www.bellyupaspen.com)
  • What is your policy on resale?

    • Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of tickets, including but not limited to counterfeit or copy of tickets, is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. 
    • We do not provide advice or assistance on the resale of Belly Up tickets.  
  • What are your ticket limits?


    We impose ticket limits on all performances. Typically, our limits are 2 general admission or 6 reserved per customer, credit card, email address, or other information. Orders exceeding the purchase limit on each ticketing page, or any tickets purchased for resale, may have a portion or all of their orders canceled without notice. Limits for each show are listed on the show purchase page.

  • What are my ticket delivery options?

    • Mobile wallet tickets will automatically appear in your Belly Up ticketing account at approximately 4pm MT the day before the show (you will receive an email/SMS when your tickets are available). 
    • Will call is available upon entry, night of show. Please bring the credit card that you used to purchase and a valid photo ID. Will call purchases are non transferable and can only be used for immediate entry for you and your guests.
  • Can I change my ticket delivery method?

    You can switch your delivery method by signing into your account. Look for “my purchases,” choose the show for the delivery method you want to change and on the bottom of that page will be the current delivery method and there you can change to the alternate method.

  • Transfers

    Your mobile wallet tickets will automatically appear in your Belly Up Ticketing account at approximately 4pm MT on the day before the show (you will receive an email/SMS when your tickets are available). Once you receive them, you can install tickets in your phone’s digital wallet and/or transfer tickets (note that transferees will need to create an account to install the tickets). 

    Transfer Instructions:  

    • Log in to your Belly Up Ticketing Account  
    • Click the transfer button (located above the tickets you would like to transfer)
    • Select the tickets you would like to transfer
    • Enter the intended recipient’s contact information 
    • Click “Transfer Tickets”  

    Let the transfer recipient(s) know that they will receive an email from guestrelations@bellyupaspen.com (and optionally, a text message) containing a link to create an account using the email used to transfer their tickets. Please note that if the transfer recipient already has an activated Belly Up account, you must transfer to the email associated with that account. They can then accept the transfer and add the ticket to their own digital wallet.

  • What is your refund policy?

    Belly Up has a no refund policy except for the cancellation or postponement of a show.

    Cancellation: All tickets will be refunded to their original point of purchase. Refunds should appear in 3-5 business days.

    Postponement: Your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.

    If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, contact guestrelations@bellyupaspen.com. Refund requests will be honored until two weeks following the announcement of the new date.

    *All dates, times, and artists are subject to change. The venue and/or promoter may cancel an event or change the date at any time. A change in scheduled performers, date, time, or location will not be considered a cancellation of the performance. 

  • When does your box office open?

    Our box office is open on show nights at doors. If the show is not sold out, tickets for that evening’s shows can be purchased upon entry at the box office.

  • What is seating like?

    General admission is standing, with some limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.  The reserved section is made up of tables (which seat 4-6 people) and railing seats (typically for smaller parties) which overlook our dance floor.

  • Can I reserve a table?

    Purchasing a reserved ticket guarantees you a seat in our reserved section but does not guarantee you a table. Email guestrelations@bellyupaspen.com for specific seating requests or inquiries.

  • Standing/Dancing In The Reserved Section & The Venue

    Belly Up is a place where everyone is welcome to enjoy themselves, whether standing or seated. For patrons wishing to dance in our reserved section, we kindly ask that you stay within your designated seats or table and be mindful of your neighbor’s view. Our staff are always available to assist if any questions arise.

  • Is Belly Up Aspen ADA compliant?

    Yes. We have ADA seating which is located on the entry level of the club (with no steps), and an elevator. If you need assistance please email guestrelations@bellyupaspen.com in advance.

  • How do I find out what time doors open/when a show starts?

    Door and show times vary depending on each event. Check our website calendar or view your confirmation by logging into your Belly Up Account to find the timing for a particular show. Show times listed reflect the start time for the first act performing. Door and show times are subject to change.

  • What is your age policy?

    • All Ages: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and they must remain at the venue with the minor for the duration of the show. Please also keep in mind that there is no re-entry for guests under 18. Once a minor leaves, they are not permitted for re-entry. Anyone younger than 5 is not permitted inside the premises of Belly Up Aspen. 
    • 18+: Anyone 18 or older is permitted in the club. Anyone younger than 21 will have their hands X’d off and is absolutely not permitted to drink on the premises. Removal of these X’s or being seen drinking by any staff member will result in their immediate removal from the venue. There is no re-entry for anyone under 21.
    • 21+: These shows permit only anyone older than the minimum federal drinking age of twenty-one (21).
  • Abandoned credit cards and lost & found

    Abandoned credit cards or any lost and found items can be picked up upon request. Please reach out to guestrelations@bellyupaspen.com to coordinate pickup. Cards will be destroyed and any lost items donated if not retrieved within 14 days. 

  • What constitutes a valid photo ID?

    • United States Driver’s License
    • United States Government ID
    • United States Military ID
    • Passport
  • Do you have a coat check?

    We offer year-round coat check.

  • What can you bring to the Belly Up Aspen?

    Yourself and a bag (smaller than 14″ x 14″). Outside food or drinks, large bags, backpacks, weapons of any kind, and illicit substances are not permitted.

  • Can I smoke in the Belly Up Aspen?

    We are a smoke-free environment. We do allow those 21+ to leave and re-enter the building to smoke. Please see security for a stamp before exiting the venue to prevent any issues upon re-entering.

  • Are there any special effects used?

    The following effects may be used: strobes, confetti, lasers and/or cryo.

  • Is there an ATM located in the Belly Up Aspen?

    An ATM is located near the entrance, across from the bar.

  • Does Belly Up Aspen allow audio and videotaping?  What about cameras?

    We do not allow video cameras, audio taping, or professional cameras with removable lenses. Flash photography is never allowed.
